IFDA Annual Convention

IFDA's 2007 convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield, Illinois from June 25-28.

We return to the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, where we'll feature approximately 70 exhibitors from all areas of the profession, as well as offer 16 hours of continuing education credit. In addition, the social activities are sure to provide fun for the entire family. Every day offers a variety of special events.

We're bringing back our Motorcycle Ride and Funeral Directors Golf Challenge on Monday, which will be followed by our Biker Bash Family Party on Monday evening. On Tuesday evening we will have the always popular Wine & Cheese Party on the Exhibit Floor. We hope you'll join us Wednesday evening at our Banquet with entertainment provided by "Frat Boys & Future Stewardesses." Tickets for this special event can be purchased on the Registration Form.

This year's educational theme is the changing face of funeral service. Popular speakers Alan Wolfelt and Todd Van Beck will present opening and closing programs on this topic. Other speakers who will expand on the topic include Rob Heppell on making your funeral home the main point of contact for any funeral, Justin Zabor on the seven most effective words for funeral service professionals and Bob Ash on how to change your business effectively and less painfully. Also included will be a Professional Dress program.
