I have been a member of the IFDA for 35 years, and many things have changed during that time. As the funeral profession has evolved with the passing of time, so has our association. For me, it’s an easy decision to renew my membership each year, as I think about the benefits that the IFDA provides.

The International Order of the Golden Rule (OGR) Foundation is now accepting applications for its Awards of Excellence Scholarship Program. The OGR Foundation will award two scholarships, one for $3,500 and another for $2,000. The Awards of Excellence Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students based on strong academic performance, funeral service experience and the strength of their essay. Applications are due by February 28, 2017.
