IFDA PAC
Our political advocacy team looks out for the best interests of the funeral service profession across Illinois by maintaining a presence at the State Capitol, while federal issues are tackled in Washington D.C. in partnership with NFDA. Our strong political voice allows us to prevent bad bills from progressing, while avoiding changes in regulation that would add more red tape to funeral service. Together with members, we participate in calls to action to stop bad policy from affecting our profession. Our efforts help maintain one of the strongest funeral director licenses in the country.

Legal Advice
The IFDA Legal Advice Program provides members the opportunity to answer legal questions when a concern arises by putting you in touch with a licensed attorney. Be sure and take advantage of your one-on-one legal consultation offered during each year of your IFDA membership.

Ethical Practice Mediation
Members are able to take advantage of IFDA’s Ethical Practice Mediation, a member-to-member dispute resolution process, fairly resolving grievances before they escalate to formal complaints to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
