SIU 2018 Annual Embalming Colloquium

In partnership with the Illinois Funeral Directors Association, the SIU School of Mortuary Science and Funeral Service would like to invite all licensed Illinois Funeral Directors and Embalmers to attend the 21st Annual Embalming Colloquium. The event will feature a poster presentation, several student presentations of varying topics, a featured presentation by Mid-America Transplant, and ends with an awards show. Lunch is included.   Cost of attendance is $20.

Registration is on a first-come, first-service basis. Pre-registration is available through November 30, 2018. At that time, all registrations will need to be completed on-site. Neither SIU or IFDA can guarantee on-site registration availability after pre-registration date has passed. Registration is not considered confirmed until registration and payment are received.   The poster presentations, 1st block, and/or 2nd block must be completed in entirety to receive CE. Attendees may register for one, two, or all three sessions. Badges will be scanned by IFDA at the completion of poster presentations for 1.5 EMB CE, after Mid-America Transplant's presentation for 3.5 EMB CE, and at the conclusion of the Infant Death presentation for the final 3.5 EMB CE. Partial credit is not available if attendees leave before conclusion of each block. Complete attendance will result in 8.5 EMB CE, but attendees are not required to attend all three sessions.
